Frosted Christmas Trees Customer Reviews

What Is a Frosted Christmas Tree?

The best part of winter mornings is when you walk outside and the whole world looks like it’s sparkling, and the tree branches are delicately covered in glittering ice. Frosted Christmas trees recreate that beauty without requiring cold climates to maintain the look. They are lightly dusted with fake snow and ice, leaving most of the needles exposed for a striking contrast of green and white.

Our pre-lit frosted Christmas trees are professionally strung with beautiful light strands. The lights reflect against the “ice” and cast a warm glow around any room they are in. You can pick how many lights you would like on your tree. Plus, there are also colored lights from multi-color to warm white, so you can find your perfect tree this year. We also offer a variety of different heights, so you can fit a tree in any room!

Frosted Vs. Flocked

While frosted trees have the same idea behind them as flocked trees, they are different in how they are designed. Flocked trees have a thicker coating of snow so that the green needles are barely peeking through. These trees are perfect for a statement piece in holiday décor.

Frosted Christmas trees are lightly dusted with snow for a subtler look. If you are looking for a classic tree with a unique touch, frosted trees are a great option.

How Long Do Artificial Frosted Trees Last?

Artificial frosted trees are a great way to go if you are looking for cost savings this holiday season. When stored properly and sheltered from the elements, these trees can last longer than ten years! No need to purchase a brand new tree every Christmas.

Note: Several of the Vickerman frosted trees that we offer are under a ten year warranty for construction and a five year warranty for the lights on the pre-lit trees.

Do Artificial Frosted Trees Shed?

When initially getting the tree out of storage here may be some light shedding, as well as when the tree is being adjusted. However, the pieces that fall off can be easily cleaned up by vacuum or broom. If you need any tips on setting up your tree, our Vickerman brand products have instructional videos that are easy to follow.

The best way to store these trees is usually in an upright position covered with either plastic or fabric. They can be kept in a box but there may be more shedding when getting it out. Whichever way it’s stored, it needs to be covered and protected from dust that might change the look of your tree.

Are Artificial Frosted Trees Safe for Pets?

The fake snow and ice is not safe for pets and can cause irritation if ingested in large quantities. Artificial Christmas trees in general can be a hazard to your pet if they like to chew on the branches or needles, so keeping an eye on them is advised. If your pet is going to be in a place near the tree or has a habit of playing with it, frosted Christmas trees might not be a good option for you.

Products to Decorate Your Frosted Christmas Tree

Frosted Christmas trees can be decorated just like other artificial trees, so it just depends on the theme you want! The delicate white of the frosted branches sets off brightly colored ornaments perfectly - we offer many different ornament types and colors from diamond and finial to the traditional ball shape. For a rustic theme, there are different colors of pine cone and snowflake ornaments to choose from.

A favorite way to decorate these trees is with ribbon looped and swirled through the branches. If you prefer garlands there are several options such as peppermint candy shapes for a pop of color or round bead shapes for a traditional look. For vintage décor, bubble lights are a lovely addition with a candle like glow against the white. A tree is never complete without a topper, and with our selection you will be sure to find the perfect one.
